Two masters of contemporary art, relevant representatives of Gruppo Zero’s last generation, together after almost fifty years for this showcasing event, inside the monumental halls of the Venetian museum dedicated to modern art.
The exhibition in Ca’Pesaro Palce Museum, offers a particular comparison between two artistic pathways, the Italian and the German one, and between models of a systematic, conceptual and also sensorial art, allowing reflection on the great lines of development in artistic research during the post-WW II years.
A selection of historical works, among the most representative of the two artists’ production, is on display, as well as recent ones, some created on purpose for the event.
Exhibition co-produced by Venice City Museums Foundation and Mudima-Milan Foundation.
Curators: Lóránd Hegyi and Davide Di Maggio.
